FAQ: Does Megaspin sell Japan-made Butterfly blades?

Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.

FAQ: Do Butterfly blades come pre-sealed?

All Butterfly blades come pre-sealed from the factory. There is no need to add blade sealing but you may if you require additional protection.

This blade is great for control and maybe up and coming players but too slow for the post speed glue days.

This blade has very nice build quality but lacks in feel and ball feedback. I found it neither good for hitting or looping compared with BTY Boll Spirit and Primorac. This is one strange bird of a blade. May work better with Chinese tacky hard sponge rubber. Flared handle feels small.

Beautiful blade! I had been using a pre-assembled stiga titanium wrb, and wanted something with more feel because I was finding myself developing into more of defensive player. I love to get into mid to long distance looping battles, that require consistency and precise shot making. I've got a sriver el max on the forehand and a flextra on the backhand. the sriver el allows for pretty fast attacks but perfect placement when looping, and the flextra allows me to fly around the table and return pretty much any shot someone can throw at me! I really like the feel of this blade, I can tell exactly if I've hit a good or bad shot, by both the sound and the feel. Over all it's a great blade, not for the all out attacker though!
