The CC5 blade is a very unique blade. When designing this blade, STIGA looked to balance control with long trajectory and power. This blade is for the control minded player who still wants to have power when striking the ball. The very unique CC blades are developed in close cooperation with Liu Guoliang, Xu Xin and other members of the Chinese National Team. The Chinese team is always talking about how important the trajectory of the ball is. With a longer trajectory you can push your opponent away from the table and take control of rallies and the game. Long trajectory and power were the primary demands of the Chinese National Team, so in combination with STIGA's know-how in blade manufacturing, the CC5 and CC7 were developed to meet those demands. This blade is very unique! Due to it's long trajectory, even at far range, it does not really affect the ball angle and the power provided. I'm a player who play far from table and this blade seriously brought me to another level with the long trajectory. It's better than CC7 in my opinion as with control, speed is better and more accurate to the place you want it to be.
