| Hi Ben,yes I really accepting that it is a cheaper way of winning points but for the beginners not advanced players.How can you win cheap points against a player who knows how to play against pips?Altough I like playing with pips or anti,if I am not forced I try to train my students with inverted to give them more attack ability.But four months ago I started to train one of the Elementary school in my country,the headmaster of the school has known nothing about table tennis.He wanted to became champion amoung the tournament of Elementary schools.I tested the students and saw that under these conditions it was nearly impossible.So we changed their rubbers with Hallmark frictionles ones and at the end we won the championchip because of the cheap points.If we would not become champion I was sure that he would cancel table tennis activity.İf you were me what would you do?I really want to know.But during the past four years we rwally trained hard-five hours each day except sundays.They really won cheap points but they trained a lot.And also I believed that it was our opponent coach's responsibility to teach their students how to play against fr pips.Thanks |
