Reviews of Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive (82)

Great blade for combination inverted with short pips for BH due to hard outer ply. Sweet spot is medium-large with the right vibration. Best blade I have reviewed that pairs very well with Chinese tacky rubbers. Might suggest a light sanding when new to soften the edges at the bottom of the wings. AN grip feels outstanding, not to thick or thin. Good at all distances from table. Some Euro tensors feel nice but can be a bit to bouncy on this blade. Rakza 7, Rozena, T64 Fx, Dragon Grip, Hurricaines work well. A great offensive all wood blade that has become a legend.

I have find a brand new special version with Ma Lin face at below the handle. It is lighter and hard than the Normal Ma Lin Offensive.
Mind's is 76g , my old one was about 85g . Ok just talk about the new one. The Ma Lin face version.

There was few pieces for choose, most of them are around 84-89g , but I find one off them just 76g and when I knock the blade , the tone was the second high of them.

For me , I prefer heavier , because my style is loop form mid-table but the saleslady said "its very hard to find a blade that is light but fast" Well~ thats a deal.

The Ma Lin face version has a slimmer handle , it made my rpb easier. And because its ligther so I can swing faster and create more spin.

This blade is good in serve and very good in close table smash , when the ball comes just little higher , I can smash. The funny thing is , when I smash harder , and it will get more accuracy.

Touch and Control are just fair , because my blade is just 76g and little hard also not so good in mid to far distance to the table

This special blade has completely change my style from mid table looping to close table fast attack. Then speed of smash is the fastest of my all blades even faster than some Butterfly ZLC , Stiga dynasty carbon Xu Xin version

This is the first blade I ever used. Paired with Hurricane 3 FH and Dignics09C BH I was able to create fast attacks with ease and was able to give tons of spin when I RPB. Overall high quality blade and very cheap as well. I would definitely recommend this blade to penholders.

(FH: Yasaka Mk V / BH: Andro GTT 45)
I upgraded from a premade Palio Legend 2; this blade had the same speed as my Palio, but was much lighter. The sweet spot was slightly smaller, but it was not a big issue after using the racket for a couple hours. I would recommend this blade for anyone looking to upgrade from a premade racket.
